Happy (Almost) New Year!

Hi everyone! I haven't been checking this blog regularly (eek) but hopefully i'll be able to keep up with it better in 2008 ;)

So i've been thinking a lot recently about what i want 2008 to be like and reflecting on this past 2007. I feel I should have grown more this year and I stunted my growth a lot by shying away from uncomfortable situations or by being closed off to everyone around me. But, this year has also taught me a lot about myself and what I need in life versus what I want. I'm growing up little by little and for once in my life, I'm not in a hurry to pay bills, get away from my parents, and live on my own. I like the luxury of friendship and relationships to fall back on and I love coming home to the safety of what is familiar.... In 2008 I think my longterm (year-long) goal is to put myself out there more. To try and deepen my relationships with more people and to not be afraid to take a certain class or to try a certain activity. I would also like to lean on God more and strengthen our bond by closing the distance gap I've held between us for so long (you guys I'm sure during bible study will help me with that :) ).

Other than that I just saw "I am Legend" which I would recommend (not highly... but good). And also, I miss chipotle (we don't have that yummy stuff here). I hope these next few days are super for you all and have a great, safe time welcoming 2008 (what do you mainlanders do for new years? I'm curious :) )

Be Well,
Jess

haha! Stop by our room more Gima. We're always around. I'll try to do the same. (but we have the Wii). I'm going to the Rose Parade for new years. So it will be spent in a hotel or having a nice dinner. Hope you have a great one!

-i think that any way you open more of yourself to God, he is glad to embrace you and work with ya :)
-i think you should stay at oxy all 4 years
-I Am Legend was so painful for me to watch! so damn suspenseful! agh! i liked it haha.. but damn i hate teh suspense!
-for new years i go to church in the morning and we do stuff. then i go home. my family gathers with our relatives and we do the korean thing where you do the traditional bow to your elders and they give you cash $$ :). then we eat dduk-gook (rice cake soup??). then sometimes my family plays yoon-no-ri. it's the game where you throw up 4 wooden blocks with writing on each of them and try to get your little guy home. fun stuff!
-enjoy hawaii! it's colder in so. cal! :)
