I LOVE ERIC KIM FOR THIS COOL BLOGG

hey you lovely people ^.^

Thanks Eric for doing this :) it's beautiful!
I'll tell you a short version of my sad tale. All the freshman girls know it already haha. So I came back to Arcadia and WHOBOOOM who do I see but my 7 year crush at church. (not 7 year old) It sort of kicked me over for a couple days...haven't seen him for months because he goes to SB. Sometimes I can't eat because I'm thinking about it (not sure what there is to think about) and then I can get sick. I wrote at least five pages journaling what I thought about it and cried a bunch. Last night at around 11:30pm I got mad at myself and re-committed myself to God (for the nth time). Please pray for me about this, you guys! I want romance to be the least of my worries in college (ho ho and thus the conference). In any case, my favorite song is now "dreaming with a broken heart" by john mayer. he's awesome ^.^

with much love,
Vicky the Yang

p.s. hopefully most of my blogs won't be about relationships...

yeah! thanks for sharing, vicky! here's my 2 cents as a fellow not-looking-for-relationships sister! :)

firstly, i don't really know what your sitch is, but crushes are especially difficult, i think, because you're left wondering. i find this extremely painful. what i've done in the past, is talked to the person about it. you know, lay it out there in a matter-of-fact fashion, honesty does wonders. if he's mature and cool about it, i think it would only draw you closer irregardless of whether he feels the same way. it's quite relieving, really. yes, this has been tried and tested by yours truly. also, i think it would be serving to him and to your relationship with God to let him know how you feel.

okay, that was really long and presumptious of me. but if i have any experience in this world on, it's what not to do in relationships. haha... err not funny.

i will be praying for you and call me if you need anything!

love xoxo,
celeste

i'll be praying too vicky... i like the advice celeste gave. telling people how you feel is the scariest thing in the world sometimes but i know you're a strong person and you'll get through this no matter what... i'm sure everything will come together in the end for the best :)

Hey gal,
Yes. Relationships...can be interesting. And yes. Wondering is tough. I will be praying. At some point I may just have post some of my relationship troubles. If you don't mind me asking, why is this one so especially painful? I remember you sharing the general stuff with me at Fall con...thats the first time we really met! How cool. =D
