Woo hoo!

Hey my people! Thanks E-Kim for setting up this business. Yay for community during the winter. I feel like anythings game for this blog, just stuff that's happening, movies we've watched, crazy stories, prayer requests, whatever. I hope this is one way we can keep in touch.

I'm leaving for Thailand in TWO DAYS. Crazy... I can't wait to be back where it's warm, there are no need for layers of clothing, and delicious thai food. I'll be with my family which I'm really looking forward to. Been Christmas shopping for them the past few days... and my cousins, any good parent ideas, or 15 year-old guy cousin ideas? Let me know.

Peace,

Daniel

p.s. Whoever comments the most I will take out for dinner (that's right!).

well, my parents always want medicine when i come back. especially peptobismol and tylenol? but somehow that doesn't seem very christmas-y. :(

and 15 y/o cousin,
boy: some video/comp game?
girl: accessories or clothing of sorts?

you already probably thought of these though

best bet, i think, would prolly be something like an amazon gift cert? my godmother gave me one of those when i was in highschool. that was pretty cool. i could buy cds online. :)

hope that helps (though i doubt it will)

ps: enjoy thai food on my behalf!

how about a calvin & hobbes book? :D. can't go wrong with that..

and i saw I Am Legend today. damn. so suspenseful for me. it was get meaning out of the movie or to really feel for will smith's character, cause i was so scared and i hated every suspenseful part. but it was a good movie.

is that a direct challenge ekim? i check my email 100+ times a day. grades should be up today or tmrw and i've checked that about that many times too.

love,
celeste

ps: daniel, what it boils down to is buy something that's either really difficult or impossible to get in thailand. though that doesn't narrow it down that much :(

ooh daniel, the kind of souvenirs we always get when we go back to japan is caramel corn. people love them!

or organic dry roasted almonds are so good too. (they're all from trader joe's)

yea so if you want advice for food gifts, call me!

for your cousins.. books are always good :) or perfumes? my girl friends like perfumes alot. or makeup stuff..like maybelline mascaras..

ok, hope this helps!

have TONS of fun in thailand!
