Hey friends,
It's been a lot of fun to read the different posts on this blog (as well as the comments and stuff). My family sat down today to reflect a bit on the past year. It was a lot of fun and deep to hear my parents and sister (my little sister went ice skating... in bangkok!) share the blessings and struggles of the past year. I shared, but I was realizing as I was reading comments today that this study has been a real blessing to me!
I could share a lot, but in a nutshell, you guys challenged me in study, i enjoyed studying the bible with you as well as just having fun! The end of the semester time was real special and I'm glad you all enjoyed my cooking (or pretended to which I'll take!). Hope as you guys celebrate the new year you are able to thank God for the good things, and also reflect on the lessons learned in the difficult things.
Anyways, I just saw I am Legend too (he he) I actually really enjoyed it. Not to be to Xiany but did you notice the christian references? I thought they were really interesting. From Will Smith coming around from belief-> disbelief and back as well as Will Smith giving his blood to save the world... interesting eh?

ooohhh i definetly caught that toward the end of the movie. he sacrificed everything because he saw his purpose and the purpose that God had placed in on the Earth to do... that part of the movie was interesting... but after the Samantha (so cute) incident (i don't want to be a movie spolier here haha), I was too upset to truly enjoy the rest of the movie :P.
PS. Bible study with you has been amazing. I can't wait for next year.

yeah! the Sam moments were definitely the core of the movie for me! I didn't really think about the other imagery till i was talking w/ a friend about it after the movie. Good stuff... now I need to go see something less deep (national treasure 2 anyone?).

YEAHHHH OMG CHRISTIAN TENDENCIESSSSSSSS. so awesome. I think the virus spread in the year 2006, wiped out the world by 2009, and it ended 20012. 3 years of being the only man on earth! Will Smith is wonderful. my sister wants to marry him lol. yay daniel! we miss you. does your cell phone work in thailand? oh well. email is better.
